Figs

Figs are so good for you! Research studies suggest that chlorogenic acid in these berries help lower blood sugar levels and control blood glucose levels in type-II diabetes mellitus (Adult onset) condition. They are a concentrated source of numerous minerals and vitamins. My thanks to www.nutrition-and-you.com

Apples - Nature's Magic Fruit

So many benefits to apples! 7 grams of soluble fiber per medium apple, and chock full of Vitamin C! The pectin in apples lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol. This same pectin may help in the management of diabetes as well. An apple a day really might keep the doctor away (or at bay)!
